Q17 It is rentable?
|
A17 The system is available for sale without any penalty or contract. You can buy it online on an interest-free installment plan. |
Q16 What is the country of origin?
|
A16 It is an American product manufactured by Paragon in the U.S. |
Q15 What are the advantages?
|
A15 It can remove heavy metals from old pipelines. As a tank-less type, it is almost free from secondary contamination that can occur because of poor maintenance.
A safe and clean product that has passed NSF Certification and KC tests. |
Q14 What should I do for filter management?
|
A14 If used at home, you only need to replace the filter once a year. You can easily change it on your own. If you want, an engineer can also visit and replace the filter for you. |
Q13 Can an engineer visit and install the product anywhere across the country?
|
A13 An engineer can visit and install the product anywhere within 3 days from the order date. |
Q12 What makes this product special, compared to others?
|
A12 Paragon Filter uses a Specialty Carbon Block made of 100% natural coconut shells. With high activated carbon contents, it keeps water fresh and tasty longer.
It is a perfect system for Korean environments and has obtained NSF and KC certifications. It is able to remove chlorine from tap water and even Hg, Pb, Fe and Cu, which are found in old pipelines.
This system is installed under a kitchen sink. It does not require a large space for installation. It is also economical because it does not need any separate rental service, penalty or deposit. In addition, it does not use electricity.
Healthy mineral water and refreshing taste
As a tank-less type, it is free from secondary contamination such as bacterial growth. |
Q11 Can I install the system myself? If I can’t, what should I do?
|
A11 An installation guide is available on the website and YouTube. If you want, an engineer can visit and install the system.
(If installed by an engineer, installation fees are as follows: KRW 30,000 for household purposes, KRW 50,000 for commercial purposes). |
Q10 What are the differences between CB6 and SR6?
|
A10 CB6 is a water filter connected to the cold water line. It is available as an under-sink system at home. For commercial purposes, you can use it as ice machine and beverage dispenser and for mineral water.
SR6 is a scale-inhibiting filter connected to the hot water line. It can be connected to the coffee machine, hot water machine and steam oven for commercial purposes. |
Q9 What product should I choose for household use?
|
A9 You can get CB6 for an under-sink system for household use.
If you want to filter all water from the sink faucet, you can choose ‘CB6+PF2’. |
Q8 What product should I choose for commercial purposes?
|
A8 You can get CB6 and connect it to the cold water line (e.g., ice machine, beverage dispenser, mineral water, etc.).
For the hot water line (e.g., coffee machine, hot water machine, steam oven, etc.), scale-inhibiting SR6 is recommended. |
Q7 How often should the filter be replaced?
|
A7 If used at home, the filter should be replaced once a year.
If used for commercial purposes, we recommend it to be replaced semiannually (the replacement cycle can be shortened depending on the amount of water use.). |
Q6 What is ‘scale’?
|
A6 Both metallic (Fe, Ca, Mn, Mg, etc.) and non-metallic (nitrogen, salts, etc.) components exist in water.
The positive ion of metallic components and negative ion of non-metallic ones are bonded and crystalized by external factors such as temperature. They are then attached to the espresso machine and heating rod of the hot water machine, forming a white buildup called ‘scale’.
Once scale is formed, a decrease in performances or system failure can occur due to low thermal conductivity and overload. |
Q5 What is a ‘Scale Guard’?
|
A5 The Scale Guard is a product that can minimize scale formation without a decrease in pH (acidification) and hardness level (minerals such as calcium and magnesium) through a non-chemical approach, using a ‘Specialty Carbon Nano Tube’ with electrodes. |
Q4 How does the Scale Guard work?
|
A4 When water passes through the Specialty Carbon Nano Tube, which reveals the electrode, turbulent jets, micro-nano bubbles and galvanic current take place.
During the process, water forms a current, and H2O is divided into H+ and OH-. The H+ and OH- are bonded with scale-causing ions (CA2+, Mg2+, Fe2+, Mn2+) and prevent scale (CaCO3) formation.
[Ca2+ + Oh- + OH- ----------------Ca(OH)2]
Briefly speaking, the water passing through the Scale Guard generates electricity and does not bond with scale (CaCO3) components, inhibiting scale formation in a non-chemical manner. |
Q3 How can I use the Scale Guard?
|
A3 Place the Scale Guard in the back of the filter (CB6).
If you already have a water filter in use, place the product in the back of the filter. |
