Paragon Filter uses a Specialty Carbon Block made of 100% natural coconut shells. With high activated carbon contents, it keeps water fresh and tasty longer.

This system is installed under a kitchen sink. It does not require a large space for installation. It is also economical because it does not need any separate rental service, penalty or deposit. In addition, it does not use electricity.

CB6 is a water filter connected to the cold water line. It is available as an under-sink system at home. For commercial purposes, you can use it as ice machine and beverage dispenser and for mineral water.
SR6 is a scale-inhibiting filter connected to the hot water line. It can be connected to the coffee machine, hot water machine and steam oven for commercial purposes.

You can get CB6 for an under-sink system for household use.
If you want to filter all water from the sink faucet, you can choose ‘CB6+PF2’.

You can get CB6 and connect it to the cold water line (e.g., ice machine, beverage dispenser, mineral water, etc.).
For the hot water line (e.g., coffee machine, hot water machine, steam oven, etc.), scale-inhibiting SR6 is recommended.

If used at home, the filter should be replaced once a year.
If used for commercial purposes, we recommend it to be replaced semiannually (the replacement cycle can be shortened depending on the amount of water use.).

Both metallic (Fe, Ca, Mn, Mg, etc.) and non-metallic (nitrogen, salts, etc.) components exist in water.

The positive ion of metallic components and negative ion of non-metallic ones are bonded and crystalized by external factors such as temperature. They are then attached to the espresso machine and heating rod of the hot water machine, forming a white buildup called ‘scale’.

Once scale is formed, a decrease in performances or system failure can occur due to low thermal conductivity and overload.

The Scale Guard is a product that can minimize scale formation without a decrease in pH (acidification) and hardness level (minerals such as calcium and magnesium) through a non-chemical approach, using a ‘Specialty Carbon Nano Tube’ with electrodes.

When water passes through the Specialty Carbon Nano Tube, which reveals the electrode, turbulent jets, micro-nano bubbles and galvanic current take place.

During the process, water forms a current, and H2O is divided into H+ and OH-. The H+ and OH- are bonded with scale-causing ions (CA2+, Mg2+, Fe2+, Mn2+) and prevent scale (CaCO3) formation.

Briefly speaking, the water passing through the Scale Guard generates electricity and does not bond with scale (CaCO3) components, inhibiting scale formation in a non-chemical manner.

Place the Scale Guard in the back of the filter (CB6).
If you already have a water filter in use, place the product in the back of the filter.
